Death in the Valley of Desire

Darkness fell as I walked through
the valley of death.
Spirits roaming,
voices howling
sending shivers down my spine.
I saw an image of a woman
walking towards
my direction,
I held my breath.
She called my name. I recognized her voice.
My heart started to miss a beat.
She held me in her arms
as I closed my eyes
to savor the comforting moment.
Then she started to caress me
until
she finally found
my lips
and
gave me the kiss
of
Death...
I screamed!
It was only a dream.
