Welcome to INDIGO INTERACTIVE, the online community of INDIGO PHILIPPINES!

Yes, ladies and ladies (and the few distinguished gentlemen visiting), we're finally online.  This is way overdue, as we've been busy doing field work for Task Force Pride Manila and LAGABLAB. We're glad that we're finally able to serve the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) cybercommunity!

Although we've been working with the LGBT community for the past two years now, INDIGO PHILIPPINES is one of the youngest LGBT-related groups in the country.  The group is composed of kick-ass WOMEN-LOVING-WOMEN whose common goal (among others) is to realize gender equality through gender education.  Such daunting task, we know; that's why we're starting by focusing on serving the LGBT segment we know best - WOMYNHOOD!

So what can you expect from INDIGO INTERACTIVE?  Well, aside from finally finding friends to talk to and share experiences with, think of our small cybercommunity as a space for expressing the joys and pains of being lesbian, where you are FREE to just BE.

We'll be doing features on topics that will be of interest to us WOMYN, as well as providing links to relevant information which we hope will be of help to you.

Our resident lesbian doctor, INNA (who's "been there, done that" *grin*) will help you seek answers — not only to questions of the heart but the whole body and mind as well — in "WHAT'S UP DOC?."  So many of us have neglected taking care of our physical health (yes, Doc, we'll sched our pap smear sometime next week/next month/next year), we'll be grateful for her reminders.

Want the whole world to know how much you love that special woman in your life?  Or maybe share an erotic story or two?  How about a women-inspired artwork you'd like to share?  Just click on the (C)LIT section [(C)lit as in creative literature!  What were you thinking? *wink* *wink*)] for contributions and we'll put them here for the whole cyberworld to see!

And of course, each of us has her own COMING OUT story.  Why not share yours with us and encourage others who are still in the closet?  Or perhaps you can tell us why and how you've managed to stay in the closet and still be happy, and inspire so many!
